Has anyone seen Danneel's episodes of JAG? I just noticed that they'll be airing next week on the USA network (presumably only in the US, lol). I've never seen them, and JAG really doesn't seem like my kind of show, but I'll check them out anyway. ;)

I can't post screen caps at the moment, but I'm not really digging her look in the ones I've seen. (Which I know Evelien and Dorien will object to, being the Navy fanatics that they are. lol)

Looks like they're airing on October 30th and October 31st at I believe 6:00 AM my time (thank Jebus for the DVR!) - so I guess that'd be 1:00 PM your time?

I guess because it's just a syndicated rerun, which they tend to just shove in anywhere they have an opening in their schedule. A lot of random shows run in the early morning on various cable channels.

So, I kind of blew it with JAG. :rolleyes:

I forgot to program my DVR to record it yesterday and missed the first 15 minutes, and then today my DVR was full and only recorded the first 27 minutes (none of which Danneel appeared in, lol). I wasn't that into what I saw of it yesterday anyway. Danneel as a Navy Cadet... meh.

She had some kind of funny interactions with an overly persistent guy (she literally shoved food into his mouth to shut him up, lol) and cheated at paintball, and there was a decent emotional scene with her dad at the end, but overall it's definitely not my kind of show.

JAG's are judge advocate generals, the spin off of this show is the (probably more known) navy NCIS.

they come in when someone in the armed forces doesn't meet with the regulations of the armed forces tto help them or to charge them after commiting a criminal action.
JAGS follow the uniform code of military justice, which is basically both the civilian law as the laws of the armed forces. (so they have jurisdiction over soldiers who commit grand theft or who commit an act of mutiny,..)...

the show was the first one to be endorsed by the US NAVY and the US Marine Corps..however people that know the navy and the corps have something against it because it's being heavily romantised and the uniforms are usually pretty inacurate.

the show got cancelled in 2005 after some..10 seasons...

we like NCIS more though

a plus for us: she's in USNA...which is good because we like researching usna so there are bound to be some mistakes in there LOL..and we know some people in USNA so we might just have to ask them for some things (yes..we're really into researching the correctness of shows)

imagequality is perfect and its got no stupid subtitles or DUBS...

In my personal opinion, Danneel did a good job as a middy ... eventhough some of the scriped answers werent the way they were supposed to be, but i'll blame that on the scriptwriters who should've known better LOL

Did I miss anything good in the second one? I think I saw all of her scenes in the first episode, but my DVR cut off the second one before she ever appeared. lol

I had seen Danneel's parts on you tube & liked her role much. So different & sweet.
I also loved her haircut & clothes she was so tough & like a tomb boy. If you would like me to put for you the link guys I won't mind at all.

we are at times randomly amused by this show, and sometimes utterly bored with it and annoyed cuz of the mistakes they make in it :laugh:

Danneel looks really different with shorter hair...really young!

e.g.

the mistakes in uniforms, the mistakes in military conduct and courtasy, how they talk to their (superior) officers, procedure wise,...

don't even get us started on how JAG does not compare to the Navy haha :laugh:
