The One Tree Hill Podcast will begin airing an exclusive interview with Danneel Harris Monday, July 13, as Harris is set to reprise her role as Rachel Gatina on the seventh season of the CW drama One Tree Hill.
Harris returns to One Tree Hill after over a year absence from the show. She teased that her character of Rachel’s new storyline is what drew her back to the Wilmington, N.C. area where One Tree Hill is filmed.
“Mark Schwahn always planned on Rachel coming back, leaving her storyline open,” Harris said. “When Mark told me the new storyline for Rachel, I knew I had to come back. It is a chance for me to do something completely different.”
It was the storyline that drew Harris from her very busy schedule and finds her landing in Wilmington for a handful of One Tree Hill episodes. She is currently balancing her time on One Tree Hill with completing filming of “The Back-up Plan” in which she is a guest-star opposite Jennifer Lopez and Alex O’Laughlin (who was last seen playing Mick St. John in the CBS series Moonlight).
“I play the nemesis to Jennifer Lopez and that was interesting,” Harris admits. “My first day on set, my first scene, I had to call Jennifer’s character fat. It was like hi Ms. Lopez - superstar - I am just going to call you fat.”
Prior to Harris’ return to the One Tree Hill set, she had appeared in 43 episodes. Her last appearance, prior to her return this season, came March 11 2008 in the episode “You’re Going to Need Someone on Your Side.”

Very curious to see what brings Rachel back to Tree Hill. And lol @ her calling J-Lo fat. :P

^ I don't think it's a live webcast that you have to see at a certain time; it should just be a podcast uploaded to stream/possibly download, so you can watch it whenever. ^_^

Irene send it to me and I downloaded it and listened to it :) so awesome, I didnt think her voice sounded different at all, just like it always does :wub:
Cant wait to see what her story line will be in OTH and this was awsome promotion for all her other work

I listened to this the other day, she was so cute in it!
I loved how long it was, I thought it was going to be like 5 minutes long or something LOL.
I thought her voice sounded quite different, it wasn't as high as usual.
I can't wait to see her in OTH S7! Although I think I already know the 'shocker'.

LOL, that's a really cool pic of her..seeing it was nowhere to be found prior to the twitter, we'd say it's legid.
However we had fears taht, after the podcast, a lot of "danneels" would show up on twitter.. we could say this one's valid until proven otherwise :hyper:
