Title: Michael Jackson has died!

I can't believe that Michael Jackson has died.

I grew up with his music...absolutely loved it!!!
He will truly be missed.

He was too young to die!
He had so much more to give.

My sympathies go out to his family and friends.

wow, I couldn't believe it when I read the headline of this thread...
I've never been a fan of Michael Jackson but hands down... he sold so many records and he was always a living legend... now he's dead and that's soo weird o.O

I'm wondering what the cause of death really was... I mean a heart-attack? that seems kind of weird for a 50 year old nowadays, if you ask me?! And then again, he lived in L.A. ... do they ever really die there of a normal cause of death???

i am in a weird state of shock today.I love his music and have been watching it on the music channels. I used to have a t shirt with bad on the front when i was younger.

RIP michael

It sounds like drugs may have been a factor. I haven't really been keeping up today because I'm burned out after all the coverage yesterday. I'm sure once something official is released I'll hear about it...

Like I mentioned on Twitter, I was obsessed with MJ when I was little. He may have gone off the deep end and all, but that can never take away the amazing musician he was. It's a shame he didn't get to do that sold-out run of 50 shows he had coming up. It was looking like a comeback might have finally been possible for him.

My heart goes out to his family, and especially his children.

Wasn't a fan, thought he was a little creepy. Though can't deny his impact on the musical world. Though I think I'm still kind of reeling from my cat's death, can't seem to care much about the trio of deaths in Hollywood that followed my kitty's death. This week was a blow in Hollywood. A lot of legends died... Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson. Just a terrible week.

^ Hopefully I don't get crucified this, but I am growing a tad weary of everyone suddenly acting like Michael Jackson was Jesus. Most of these same people would have cracked jokes about him being an alien-faced child molester a week ago. I'm all for paying one respect and whatnot, but some people need to dial it back a bit is all I'm saying...

I'm shocked too. He did a lot of questionable things but I can't deny he was a genius when it came to music! I always liked listening to his songs.

It was a very shocking news guys, I'm not a fan of him really or his songs but the news was so shocking for me.
So sorry that you're all sad guys, wish I could cheer you up.

I cried all the way through it!
It was so beautifully done, very emotional to watch and a service I will never forget!

We will miss you Michael Jackson!

Me too...my daughter cried at that point!!!! Paris showed the world how much she loved her dad! I hope everything works out for the kids...that they have the right people, that they love, looking after them.
