Anyone watch the MTV Movie Awards this weekend? Turns out the Eminem/Bruno ~scandal~ was indeed planned. No shock there. I think some of my favorite moments involved Kristen Stewart, of all people. I know it's cruel to laugh at her for it, but she is just SO AWKWARD. I was already cracking up at her for dropping the popcorn, and then they cut to Rob falling out of his chair laughing in the audience and it was even funnier. I liked that she was all, "There, that was just as awkward as you thought it would be, bye!" and ran off. hahaha. Poor KStew.

Also, LEIGHTON. She was a good sport about Andy repeatedly making jokes about her farting. Her interaction with Lil Wayne was a bit awkward (his joke about guest starring on GG was lame, and you could tell Leighton thought so. lol), but I burst out laughing when Miley was accepting her award from them and said something like, "Oh, I'd like to thank God - HELLOOOOOO!!!" in a crazy voice and they showed Leighton and Wayne cracking up at her. She's so obnoxious, haha. "I'M ON A BOAT!"

Even Andy Samberg as host was tolerable. I was expecting to be completely irritated by him as I usually am on SNL. The only part that I felt went on way too long and wasn't really that funny was the Ben Stiller tribute. And maybe that part with LeAnn Rimes, Chris Isaak and Forrest Whittaker. It was funny at first, but...

I loved Adam! :) and yea, the whole Eminem/Bruno thing was set up as they said and you could see it was, just felt sad for Zac coz he looked uncomfortable

Hah, I thought Zac seemed amused. That really is about the craziest way one can receive an award. I didn't even realize Bruno was presenting until he called out that Zac had won. lmao

I felt more uncomfortable for Zac when Jonah Hill made that tacky joke about how he was supposed to play Zac's part in HSM, but failed Disney's required pubic hair check... and they cut to Zac. The face he made cracked me up, though.

I did not manage to look ceremony, but I saw in news slices and winners. Did not expect a little, that "Twilight" will win 5 awards. Though it was obvious, that any awards will be them. But I supported the "Millionaire from slums"

As Paula know I watched the awards (I twittered about it)... I wanted to watch them live, it was 3 am when they were aired here. LOL.

Leighton looked lovely even if I still don't know how I feel about that dress, I didn't hate it but still... Plus I admit she was the main reason I watched it, I'm such a fangirl!

Eminem knew what was going to happen or only the landing-on-him part wa splanned? Because he sure looked pissed when he walked away, even if I imagined that Sasha Baron Cohen did it on purpose.

I too laughed out loud watching Kristen Stewart, when she went to receive her award it looked like she forgot to greet someone cause she was starting to talk, then turned around to do something and noticed that the people who announced the award walked away and started her speech anyway. Then I remember her messing with her hair. LOL. And what did Cameron give her before walking away?

Anyway the awards were totally predictable... They should have changed the name in the "Fangirls movie awards". The only award Twilight should have won was the best song and it went to Miley Cyrus. Who is... I don't know how to translate it in english, I'll have to look it up.. Also the "breakthrough" awards was stupid... I think none of the actors was a breathrough. For example Robert Pattison... he played Cedring Diggory in Harry Potter, I don't know if he has other movies. It amuses me how he suddently became hot playing Edward. :P

I'm not the biggest fan of the Twilight saga, but I have to admit that I liked the trailer. I have this weird infatuation on Jacob... LOL.

I wasn't paying much attention, so I think I'll tape the rerun tomorrow.

As I understand it, the Bruno/Eminem stunt was definitely planned, but it's unclear if Eminem was in on the joke in advance. Certainly didn't look like it! The show went completely mute for a good 30 seconds while he unleashed an angry string of profanities. lol - From what I hear, Bruno dropping from the ceiling was rehearsed, but Eminem was not at said rehearsal, so who knows...

As for what Cameron handed to Kristen, I believe it was a chunk of golden popcorn. I think she broke her statue when she dropped it. lol
