Hi, I just thought I'd pop in quickly and introduce myself after lurking for awhile. Just a note, I'm usually weary about posting after reading postings on other forums and realising how disrespectful and hurtful some people can be, it's quite frightening and disconcerting.

Well here I go. My name is Paulette, my friends call me Lettie, Let or P. I'm from England, I really really love SPN , although I originally dismiised it as a non-entity. I'm an avid Jensen Ackles fan.

I only heard rumours about Danneel dating Jensen in early 2007, so knew nothing about her. I disregarded all the negative comments. I think it was 'Kelbub's (sp) Asylum report in 2007 which garnered my interest in Danneel. I didn't watch OTH, but decided to check it out when I heard Danneel was in it. I had to wait awhile but it was worth it, Danneel played Rachel really really well. She was believeable and right there it suddenly clicked that a part of the fandom actually believe Danneel is 'Rachel'. I'm not an OTH fan so only watched up until the time Danneel left, If Danneel returns and those espisodes are shown here, I'll definately be watching again. There is definately something special about Danneel because despite the incident with the over zealous fan at the Asylum Convention in 2007 and the constant barrage of criticisim over the years from certain parts of the fandom she is still with Jensen. That to me says alot about how supportive, committed,strong and resiliant she is. I've said it once and I'll say it again, Jensen is a very lucky young man.

I respect Danneel deeply. :D

I think you and many of the fans i found on this board - including myself - have a similar veiw point and come from the same kind of fandom. But as you know, this is very respectful and hate free (unless we're dissing the haters lol) place So you'll fit right in!

I'm a huge fan of both Danneel and Jensen :wub:

I watch both OTH and Supernatural but I'm also a Smallville fan so knew of Jensen then. When I found out they were going out with each other I was so pleased. :wink: They are my favourite celeb couple!!! :heart:

I found that there are many girls who are in love with Jensen and therefore Danneel gets the grief from jealous girls!!! :eek: She handles it really well, which is another reason why I admire her so much! :D
