Oh, hah, I didn't realize they made hard plastic versions of the red and blue ones. I've only ever seen the really cheap ones where the frames are made of cardboard and the lenses are cellophane. I definitely prefer the more modern ones that don't look so goofy. :P

At Universal I went to a 4D Shrek movie that was totally crazy.

LOL...before I started on this lil thing, i had never seen the more updated red/blue 3D goggles neither ... I just thought it would be more...cool if it had a red and a blue eye LOL

A 4D movie is a 3D movie that also has crazy special effects that you feel there in the theater. Like the seats moved (to simulate riding on Donkey's back, in a boat, etc.), there were water effects (like when Donkey sneezed at the screen, you got a tiny splash of water, silly stuff like that), and the creepiest one was when Shrek and Donkey encountered a bunch of spiders and something - I'm not sure what, like little strips of plastic? - grazed our arms and legs to make us feel like we were being attacked by spiders. It was very brief, but the girl next to me freaked the hell out, haha. It was a pretty fun experience.

I wonder what tipe of glasses were given to the audicente, those are a bit unfashionable. But the pic si cute. :D I remember when I went to see Bolt, I almost laughed harder when I saw my friend looing at me with her glasses lol.

No serious movie, just two short ones about 20/30 minutes. One was called "Fly me to the moon", about some baby flies who went to the moon. XD The other one was called monsters of the abyss, about dinosaurs and ancient creatures that lived in the sea.

That first one sounds strangely adorable. What kind of 4D effects did they throw in for that one?

Yeah, it was cute. :D There weren't much effects, just the seat vibrating, some water right in the face in a attempt to kill the flies (they survive and make friends with the astrounauts eventually). Maybe some air also...
But it was mostly about the 3D effects.
