GOTHAM SKYLINE IN BELGIUM
(December 1, 2008: Antwerp, Belgium) World renowned US performance artist and Guinness World Record holder Bryan Berg spends 10 days in Antwerp this winter, building Gotham City in playing cards. The project celebrates the digital tv and dvd release of Batman The Dark Knight, sponsored by Telenet at Stadsfeestzaal Shopping Center in Antwerp.

The challenge: Construct the Gotham skyline with more than 50.000 playing cards and establish a Belgian record. The deadline is Wednesday December 10th at 11am- the exact time at which The Dark Knight will be launched.

This is Berg's first appearance in Belgium, and a card counting machine will be brought to determine how many cards were used on the last day. Shoppers can enter a raffle to guess, and win a millionaire trip to Chicago for star-style treatment where the film was shot.

Hah, I was just going to ask, "What, no pictures of it in cards?" Then I realized that the deadline to finish it is today, so there probably weren't any yet. Anyway, should be cool! If you find any pictures of the finished product, please post them!
