the latter has had more success than the first one...

One would hypothetically go around a thing like this by sending a nice (handwritten is best) letter, telling them who you are, where you're from, how you've come across their work, (potentially) what else you've seen them in... A little bit of sucking up and send the letter LOL

It's best if you add a Self-addressed evelope (incl. stamps) inside of the envelope you're sending the picture with (eventhough you don't have to send a picture, it's adviced)

Self-addressed, Self stamped envi's are just envi's where you wrote your address on (just so you know they'll be sent to the correct place) and where you've already put stamps on (in order for them not having to pay for sending)

Yeah, I'm gonna go with fake. Check out the "Info" tab - it's a bio copy/pasted from IMDb. And WTF @ the website link they gave. lol

Danneel has a facebook, but she doesn't add anyone she doesn't know personally. Everything is set to private, so you can't see her friends or her profile. You can send her a message but she won't bother replying if she doesn't recognize you. This is what she has twitter for.

I think that's just like a fan page..She posts by first name but I'm sure that's not her..

It is her on facebook but yea like Songbirdann said, twitter is for fans etc, her facebook is completely private, like it should be :)

Hi Twinzz! :wave: Yeah she's had it for a while. I wanna say at least five years? Maybe more lol. It's been around for a while, it's just recently everyone started to get addicted lol. We old folk had it back in the early days when chat wasn't around. Lol. (Which I liked btw, because some people, you just don't want to ramdomly talk to lol.)

I didn't know facebook was that old lol. Shows what my generation knows :laugh:

I am on Gino's facebook and the danneel he has on there is compltely private and nothing to do with the facebook link shown on the previous page. She has one, but it is private as songbirdann said and her default picture is not of herself probably so no one will recognize her.

Facebook started in 2004... I joined in early 2005 and at that time you had to have a school email address to sign up, and for a while could only friend and see people who were from your school, as I recall. It's really changed and expanded in the last couple years from a school based networking tool, to an everyone on the planet kind of thing.

It feels like it's been around longer lol. Yeah that is true, you HAD to have a college email to join. You could friend anyone though, not just the ones from your school. As long as you knew their name, and they added you back, you could have friends from anywhere. I remember people adding me just based on my major lol. Only people from your school could see your profile though, no one else until you added them.

It's really come a long way lol. I knew it was a place for college people which is why i never joined until I went to college. Mostly everyone on my friends list is in college though so it works. Just a few family members that aren't. It's still way more private than myspace will ever be! But i like myspace because you can customize your profile. :D

Overall, i like Live journal the best!!!!!
