Hey guys

i was looking for updates on release dates ... seems like Extreme movie - f.k.a. "Parental Guidance Suggested" (where Danneel plays Melissa) has a releasedate of SEPTEMBER 2, 2008 in the US.

cduniverse has it listed for September 16, 2008

amazon has no listing about it yet ...

.com - has it listed but without a date

any of the european amazons (.fr, .co.uk,.de,...) don't have it listed yet

proxis.be doesn't have a listing yet

bol.com doesn't have a listing yet

just thought I'd let you know :)

hugs

Yeah I saw that too some days ago on IMDB...
That movie is a mistery.. We don't know anything about it. No teaser, barely no pictures, a little 'non-very-attractiv' plot...

^ lmao. I sometimes forget that I'm basically the only person around here in the US. Though getting DVDs from the US only works if your DVD player can play them.

Anyway, thanks for the update!

Yeah, but only if your DVD player has a region hack. Not all of them do.

most dvd players can be hacked though.. and if it doesn't have an official hack, you can always search online..there are a lot of smarties who found out how to "hack" the "unhackable" LOL

yay at a releasedate

sorry but it seems like yet another attempt to make yet another "American Pie" like movie -- wonder how many times we'll hear the word "fuck (me/you/it/...) or derivants of it in it LOL

I really hate movies like this..

Yeah, I don't have very high hopes for this one, but I'll give it a chance once it hits Netflix. I do love me some Michael Cera.

Whoever did the photoshop work on the cover needs to explore a new career venue, stat. lol

Netflix doesn't have this available yet. You can save it to your queue for when it does become available, but as of now its release date is listed as "unknown."

okay, more information...

the movie was "released nationwide" in cinemas

well, it was released in 3 cinemas that were spread throughout the nation LOL (hence: nationwide) ...and yes, it was only shown in 3 cinema buildings (so not even complex')

these were the cinemas the movie was released at on DEC 4:

Amsterdam, NY - Emerald Cinemas

Portland, OR - Clinton Street Theater

Columbia, SC - Carmike Wynnsong 10

Some "critic" claimed that the outcome of this movie could be "bad news" for "Four Christmasses" (with Reese Witherspoon) -- but I'm severely doubting if that was the case (over-couraged maybe?)

The movie has no trailer and is believed to be the first movie to go into release without any form of trailer

People who have seen the movie claim that its nothing like any of the American Pie/Date movie like movies (which one might believe seeing its another "movie" movie)

this is the official synopsis:

QUOTE
Extreme Movie
Uncensored, Outrageous and Completely Inappropriate
Extreme Movie is so wrong, it's right. Written by some of today's funniest writers, including Saturday Night Live's Andy Samberg and Will Forte, Extreme Movie follows a group of high school geeks on their hilarious journey into manhood. Loaded with raunchy fun, Extreme Movie features an all-star cast including Michael Cera (Superbad), Ryan Pinkston (TV's Punk'd), Jaime Kennedy (Malibu's Most Wanted), Matthew Lillard (Without a Paddle), Frankie Muniz (Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story) and Andy Milonakis (Who's Your Caddy?).

nothing known about Danneels part...what I do know is that Frankie Muniz has a "naked scene" of about 5 minutes where he tries to get a girl laid (duh LOL)

according to the official website (http://dimensionextreme.com/film.php?id=35) the official release date on DVD is february 24 in the US

that's all for now :)

Paula - January 19, 2009 05:42 AM (GMT)
Netflix still has "unknown" for the release date on this one. Hopefully they'll get it come February.

velvetsky - January 19, 2009 10:42 AM (GMT)
I don't always bother with these, but I think I'm going to have to rent this one. Not only does it have Danneel, but I think Vanessa Lengies is in it and I like her too. *L* Usually though I can find some redeeming entertainment value in most 'stupid comedies'. Not all, but most. *L*
