Title: "Mardi Gras" shooting

twinzz-dorien - May 9, 2008 01:25 PM (GMT)
According to the producer of the film "Mardi Gras" (on FEB 22 2008), the movie will begin filming this spring in New Orleans, Louisinana.

according to IMDB, the characters are still unnamed LOL... (maybe they'll just use the characters real names??)

I'm still a little afraid to see what a movie put out by Maxim will be like, but I'm happy that Danneel's had a pretty steady stream of work lately. Hopefully all of this exposure will lead to bigger and better things for her soon. :)

bigger like..harold and kumar bigger...or bigger as in... "Titanic" LOL

the general public who've seen harold & kumar love danneels peformace...that's a good thing LOL

lol. I just meant bigger as in... eventually being a lead in these movies and more TV work, etc. I didn't mean to belittle H&K at all - she's definitely on the right track with roles like that. ^_^

I know..i just meant that its still a long way up from H&K big to .;Titanic-like big (ugh i hate that movie!)

^_^ u love H&K LOL... i don't see why you'd belitlle it (funny word BTW) in the first place LOL

Nah, 'Titanic' is probably too big. It gets annoying when people are that famous and you hear about them every time you turn on your TV or look at a magazine. I'd like her to be successful, of course, but not THAT successful. lol - I have a feeling Danneel would agree. She seems pretty unimpressed by how the media invades personal lives, and when you're that famous, you don't really get to have one anymore.

LOL ...about being too big for one person can you imagine?

reporter:

Danneel Harris, the oscar-winning actress from the multiple-award winning action/comedy "title", is here with us.

Danneel, how does it feel to be such a praised superstar as you are today?

well...we asked around a bit about the character names...and we don't have anything specific for danneel or any of the other characters...but these pretty much are the characters as they are (currently) known

After reading the script, I can maybe fill in some of the blanks.

Josh Gad - Bump
Bret Harrison - Mike
Nicholas D'Agosto - Scottie
Carmen Electra - Herself
Becky & Jessica O'Donohue - They play Mike's horny twin cousins. One will ne Janice and the other will be Jannie

As for the rest of the female cast, I'm not sure of the characters they will be playing. But the rest of the characters are as follows.

Erica - Mike's girlfriend

Lucy - The girl that Mike ends up with at the end of the film, because his girlfriend lied to him.

Ann Marie - The girl Bump ends up with

Dominique - Carmen's attractive friend

Hope that helps a little

So basically she could be any of the other four girls? lol

twinzz-dorien - May 20, 2008 04:35 PM (GMT)
that's pretty much the case...but since she's right under carmen electra in the listing...we'd say dominique LOL... (that name still rings French sex addict to us)

Cast order doesn't always mean much - look at the reviews grumping about Justin Long being at the top of the cast listing for "Still Waiting..." despite only making a brief cameo appearance. Time will tell...

Ok, I just got done filming a few scenes in it, so I'll tell what I know.

For the male leads

Bret Harrison plays Scottie

Nick D'Agosto plays Mike

Female leads, from what I gather:

Carmen Electra is herself, but she has a much smaller role than is being advertised.

Arielle Kebble is playing Lucy, a girl that Mike meets at Mardi Gras

Danneel Harris is playing Erica, Mike's girlfriend.

Regina Hall wasn't on set, so I know bugger all about her roll.

And Becky and Jessica O'Donahue (as far as I can tell) are extremely hot twins that Mike and Scottie meet at Mardi Gras.

Let me just reiterate, This is what I gathered after 3 days of filming, so I'm very possibly wrong.

Also, I've gotta say that these people (the crew also) are a delight to work with. They were all very nice, not pushy or stuck up (even Carmen), and didn't think themselves above mingling with the extras. Bret is a really cool guy, and Nick is funny as hell.
