Aperantly, Chad Michael Murray is going to write one episode of OTH season 6 himself...

I mean... if it works out, all the more power to him..but its not cuz Lucas can write (and even that has yet to be proven haha) that Chad can too LOL

Well, that's certainly... interesting. I'll reserve any judgment until I've seen his work, I guess. Maybe writing is a hidden talent of his? I don't imagine Mark would just give him a shot at this just because, you know? Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.

I have no idea why I'm taking up for Chad here. I just don't want to make any unfair assumptions until we've seen what he can do. This is a pretty gutsy move on his part. A lot of times you'll see actors direct an episode or their show or something, but to actually WRITE one? Wow.

haha. Sorry, but I'm definitely not on board with somebody having to look a certain way to do something. Like I said, I'll give him a fair chance. If his episode sucks, THEN I'll mock him. :P

oh...i'll give him a fair chance too... but its been on more shows that the writers gave some of the stars the chance to write an own episode right before ... they go down :(

I don't think I've ever heard of an actor writing an episode of their show before. Not saying that it doesn't happen, I just haven't been aware of it, I guess. Like I mentioned, guest directing (or being named a producer) seems to be a lot more common.

That should be, interesting. Only actor I know of who wrote an ep of their own show was David Duchovny wrote an episode of the X-Files. But, David was in college till he was 27 and has a masters degree in English Literature, so.... *L* The man dropped out of Yale while working on his doctorate to act. *L* I'm thinking Chad didn't do the same. But, I'll reserve judgment, could be he does have some hidden talent. And, I think even on Duchovny's first go, Chris Carter may have co wrote, or at least did some of the story development with him. So perhaps Mark will do that with Chad or something. Kind of 'guide him through it'. I mean, I have to figure they won't just toss anything up there, just because...

He has Shane West Syndrome. They're so cute when they smile, but insist upon looking "badass" or whatever when posing for picture and end up looking like they're pissed off all the time.
