So it appears that Sophia will NOT be appearing on Conan O'Brien nor will she be attending The CW Upfronts next Tuesday as she was previously confirmed to. This is being reported to be because of the fact that she is due to have her tonsils removed, something which can take weeks to recover from. As much as it would have been awesome to see her out and about again, her health is obviously so much more important to us. Get well soon, Sophia, we wish you a speedy recovery.

We hope she recovers fast!!!!!!and that her voice will, maybe sound a little less painful as it has sounded this season... the little raspyness in her voice was cute ..but this season, it seemed to be getting painful (it looked painful)

Aw, man! I was looking forward to seeing her on Conan on Friday. Anyway, sorry to hear she has to undergo surgery, but as you mentioned, it sounds like she needs it. Her voice hasn't been right at all this season - hopefully the surgery will take care of whatever is causing that. Get well soon, Sophia!

I thought her voice sounded a little off too. There were a few eps of OTH that I wondered if she had a cold or something the way she was talking. Hopefully she recovers well, doesn't sound like a fun procedure.

apparently her surgery has been rescheduled because of her going back to film oth. there is a topic about it on othforums but cos its down i can't post the link. i guess she is waiting cos recovery takes a lot longer when you are older so she doesnt want it to effect her work. but i dno how true this is, but it sounds pretty true cos she was at an event last week and yesterday.

Aw, dude, she should have done Conan then! lol

Just kidding. I hope she's able to work the surgery into her schedule soon to get some relief from her ongoing throat issues. Maybe when they're done shooting the first few season six episodes and go on hiatus.
