'Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay' opened at #2 this weekend, earning $14.6 million at the box office. ('Baby Mama' took the top spot, bringing in $18.3 million.)
Not bad, not bad... I'm sorry to say that I was unable to contribute to opening weekend sales (I know, my one ticket could have made all the difference! lol), but I hope to see it very soon!

Duuuuude. The theater here has already stopped showing H&K2! WTF?! I didn't even get to see it! Grrr.

Kind of. The theater isn't as nice ('cause, duh, it's the budget theater! lol) and it's pretty out of the way. We'll see. I might end up just waiting for DVD. The tragedy!

Harold & Kumar already more than doubled their budget in cinemas...the movie took (about) 12 million dollars to make ..they have now made $34,098,389
current weekend gross avarage is: $1,423
(oh..and everyone thinks Vanessa is Hot! LOL)

Awesome, glad it's still hanging in there in the top ten.
As I just mentioned in the "Indiana Jones" thread, I made a deal with my brother that I'd go with him to see IJ if he comes with me out to the budget theater (it's kinda... out of the way) to see H&K2 with me. Now I'm just waiting for it to get there... lol.

Looks like the combination between "Sex & the City", "Indiana Jones", "Iron Man" and the new "Narnia" was too much to take for the stoned two-some :(

Sadness. They had a pretty good run, though - much better than the first one, that's for sure! I think this one, like the first, will have better luck on DVD.
I'm surprised "Baby Mama" is still going strong. Didn't that open back in April? Who knew it would be such a hit? lol

I am so pissed! In the UK H&K2 was in cinemas for like a week and now they've stopped showing it so I didn't get a chance to see it.
I did see an ad though at the cinema and I didn't think Danneel was in the trailer and then she popped onto the big screen, I was like eeekkk DANNEEL! Lol.
