what ever happened to the themesong/video of one tree hill???

Not sure about TV where you are, but it's increasingly popular in the US to not have an opening credits sequence, and to just flash a quick logo and run the credits on-screen at the beginning of the episode. The credit sequences can be a pain on ensemble shows where there are lots of cast members to get through (and some who may come and go throughout the season), and it eats up airtime, so a lot of shows just skip them altogether.

I'm guessing since they jumped four years, rather than putting together a whole new sequence and deciding if they should have a new theme song, etc., they just figured they'd get rid of it and put the airtime to use elsewhere.

I don't really mind it. I hated that Gavin DeGraw song anyway. :P

I always cringed when the "iiiii dont wanna" started to play LOL
...he's a sucky singer hahah

but yeah..more & more shows here don't have an intro anymore either (partially because most of the shows here ARE shows from the US LOL) ... but it's kinda weird that they decded to dump the intro after 4 seasons haha

It's maybe something they'd been considering anyway and with the time jump between seasons figured it was as good a time as any to go for it.
