WTF !! No Danneel ... :(
Really hope things will change and that she will be able to attend the event
RachelG - March 24, 2008 03:35 PM (GMT)
Hopefully Danneel will go, I'm sure she will.
I so wish I could go :(
I am super excited for Sophia going, she hasn't been to the last 2 :(
Paula - March 24, 2008 06:57 PM (GMT)
I believe Danneel is shooting a movie right now (Fired Up)? That may be why she hasn't confirmed, but I wouldn't get too upset yet. She attended the last two and she'll probably do her best to make it to this one if her schedule permits.
I think cast members who haven't confirmed tend to drop in on these games anyway - I've heard Chad never confirms in case something comes up at the last minute, so as not to disappoint people counting on him being there.
I really wish I could go too, Amy. (Don't we all? lol) But hopefully Danneel will be there and there will be lots of new pictures/videos. There were bunches last year.

Isn't she working on both "Fired Up" as "Mardi Gras"?... since M.G. was filming last ...mardi gras in Louisiana?
I hope she joins in though...more pix haha

yeah, I know..sophias grandfather was in bad shape at the last charity game so she chose to spend time with him instead of going to the game... she's very family bound so...
I hope danneel will be able to make it...but on the other hand, being out shooting a movie only means more exposiure so ...
twinzz-dorien - March 24, 2008 07:50 PM (GMT)
Mardi Gras (2010) (pre-production)
Fired Up (2010) (filming)
Still Waiting... (2008) (filming) .... Sherry
those are the status' according to IMDB...
question..."fired up" is currently filming for 2010 ... but since its a maxim movie, I don't recon it'll be THAT long of a movie (not LOTR long LOL) ... but than why are they filming already? LOL

most cast have confirmed
OTHfans.com has confirmed FIRST that Jackson Brundage, Joe Davola (Executive Producer), and Mark Schwahn (Series Creator) have all confirmed to be at the 5th Annual James Lafferty/OTH Charity Basketball Game on April 26th in Wilmington, NC!
aand i wouldn't worry too much about danneel not confirming, there is still plenty of time for other cast members to confirm. i hope all the cast that normally go go, likee... hilarie, chad, bevin and of course danneel :)

Hard to say. They may have just been getting footage of the Mardi Gras festivities and not actually had the cast down there filming yet. I think that article that mentioned it only said that their film crew was down there, right? They didn't mention seeing any cast members. They'd probably want a more controlled environment for shooting actual scenes (I'm sure they can recreate Mardi Gras with a little movie magic easily enough) - they may have just been scoring some crowd footage that wouldn't require them to pay a bunch of extras.
Not sure if she's still at work on "Fired Up," but she seems to be quite busy lately with various projects, so she's maybe just waiting until it gets closer to the game to figure out if she can make it or not. It's probably harder for her to know where she'll be a month from now (as opposed to the other cast who are working on OTH and will be in Wilmington anyway).
And aww, little Jackson is going? Hope it's not too traumatic for him. lol - Eric on OTHforums (who met him outside the 100th Episode party) said Jackson was pretty shy, and the crowd is going to go CRAZY when they see him. I'm sure he'll have plenty of people keeping an eye on him, but that might be overwhelming for such a little guy. He's so cute. lol
twinzz-dorien - March 25, 2008 06:30 PM (GMT)
actually ..i'm not for the idea of Jackson brundage going..I mean, he's just a little boy, he should enjoy being a kid for a while...
and yes, it'll probably be a cool experience for him to go through and all ...
Let's just say that's i'm not a big fan of too much exposiure for child-actors/artists in general...

OK... so we have been getting a lot of e-mails and I have seen a lot of posts regarding questions on the charity game. Please note that OTHfans. com IS your place to get all information regarding the charity game.
However, OTHfans. com will only post information that is OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED!!! If you see information on another website that is not located here... then chances are... it's not true.
About cast appearances... Chad and Hilarie have not confirmed at this point. Just because they don't confirm... that does not mean they won't be there. As far as I can remember... Chad has NEVER confirmed by has shown up at least the past 2 years. Hilarie lives in town so chances are she could make an appearance. Not everyone confirms and not everyone confirms early. Some cast may not confirm until about a week before the event.
Regarding getting tickets... OTHfans. com is NOT the website selling tickets. We will post a direct link to the website so you can purchase tickets. But... the Wilmington Family YMCA is the organization selling the tickets. www. wilmingtonfamilyymca. org is their website... and is the place you will find the order form page. However, OTHfans. com will post a direct link to the order form page once it is up on Saturday. This link will only forward you directly to the ordering page.
Hopefully this clears up a lot of questions and concerns regarding the game. If you do not find an answer to your question here on this website... more than likely an answer does not exist. But feel free to contact us and ask away. We will try to answer as many questions as possible. But PLEASE... look at our charity game page BEFORE sending in your questions! |

i don't think a charity game is too much exposure... it is in north carolina and things, its not like he is going to loads of events.

there wasn't as much of the cast there as there normally is i didn't think, but that could just be me lol.
Paula - April 27, 2008 10:53 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it doesn't sound like the cast presence was so hot this year when compared to other years. Wonder what that's about. Glad I didn't go out of my way to make it to the game. I would have been a bit disappointed, I think. :\
Paula - April 28, 2008 05:24 PM (GMT)
Did you guys see this video of
Jackson doing the Soulja Boy dance? hahaha - He was so into it that James had to yank him off the court so they could start the second half of the game.

That's awesome! Fans get to go in and have a good time with the OTH cast, and they raise a bunch of money for a good cause at the same time. Everybody wins!
