Title: girls throwing themselves at Mouth's feet????
Description: seriously?
twinzz-dorien - March 14, 2008 10:16 PM (GMT)
What kind of fetish do (or does??) the writers staff of One Tree Hill have with Mouth?????
I mean... sorry to say, but in the 'real world"...i don't think a guy like Mouth would get so much female attention as he's getting over the past 3 seasons
first there was Erica Marsh ...Rachel tried kissing him a couple of times... Mouth left Rachel in Honeygrove cuz she was too sensual around him but sleeping around with others... than Shelly...Alice...Millicent...now RACHEL again???????????????
they are not serious...are they????? ... how come all these gorgeous young girls are throwing themselves at Mouth's feet?????
i'm seriously against the favoritism of Mouth that Mark and the writers staff seem to be having
twinzz-evelien - March 14, 2008 10:32 PM (GMT)
i agree..favorites of the writers are leyton and mouth LOL

The answer is actually kind of creepy... Mark has said that he considers the Mouth character to be a representation of himself. So, basically, this is his way of making up for not landing all the hotties back in high school. Because, yes, it's insanely unrealistic that all these girls would be throwing themselves at (I'm sorry, Lee!) a rather unattractive, geeky guy. That's just not how the world works. lol
Though to give them some credit, I think Millicent is the first relationship that actually makes sense. She's a pretty girl, but she obviously doesn't know it, and she's sweet and seems like someone who actually would go after someone like Mouth. So it's a step in the right direction, at least. (And it keeps him away from Rachel! haha)

LOL...than mark should stop giving himself the undirect screentime (aka mouth should stop being a regular...since his story doesn't make any sense compared to the rest of em...)

yes...that is a creepy answer LOL
I also think the Millimouth relationship makes most sense so far... although she is more than a geeky girl... If she losens the hair etc etc, she is pretty hot also...
a Routh relationship..don't get me started (gag)

Millimouth??? LOL...that sounds like a freggin pokemon!

lmao. That is a pretty awkward couple name.
I've been on Team AnyoneButRachel where Mouth is concerned since the first go-round, but Mouth/Millicent is the first Mouth couple I've actually found tolerable. They're a bit on the sickeningly sweet side, but it's more realistic and I don't find myself annoyed by them together. (Mouth/Rachel aside, I could also rant for a bit about Mouth/Shelley. Gah.)

anyonebutRachel..I guess I've been shipping for that too haha...
I don't know what else to call them but millimouth.. both their names start with an M
Miouth is already a pokemon name...
milith sounds even dumberder
twinzz-dorien - March 26, 2008 06:05 PM (GMT)
LOL...i think mouth needs a time out haha
face it...millicent is to cute for mouth LOL
i'm all for Mouth joining a religious cult (or just becoming a christian priest) where he has to stay celibate
twinzz-evelien - March 26, 2008 06:06 PM (GMT)
like..christianity?..a priest

How about a gay storyline? I know they tried that in S2 with Anna and it bombed pretty badly, but I could kind of see it working for Mouth. Well, could have - I guess it's a bit late for that now (and would shatter poor Marky's vision of the geeky ladykiller, lol), but I definitely could have seen it in earlier seasons. Maybe it's just me.

hmm..that would be interesting..however he wouldn't dance with rudy

but Yeah, I think they need to write a gay character..they say they're all about acceptance and trying to give the good example but they chicken out when a storyline about a main character turning out to be gay goes wrong...
I don't think it's a good idea to make a main gay all of a sudden, like they did with Peyton..but a recurring actor/tress would be nice

I don't really think that a storyline with any of the male characters being gay would really hit ground ... I mean..;the vast majority of the writers staff seem to be male..and if there's one thing a lotta guys don't wanna see on TV...than its other guys kissing eachother LOL...
If they go for a gay storyline...i'm thinking they'll go for one of the female characters ...maybe even Rachel, since she doens't seem to have anything against F&F relationships LOL ...
for gay storylines...i'm still voting Brachel LOL
sorry to say..but Mouth doesn't exactly seem to be the most appealing guy to gays either ...
he's doomed!

| Rudy? |
in the cabin episode, they go to this bar and he says something like "okay..will someone help me out because some guy named rudy keeps asking me to dance with him" to Peyton and Brooke
Paula - March 27, 2008 05:23 AM (GMT)
Ohh, right. I forgot about that.
Anyway, like I said, I don't see it so much now, but in earlier seasons Mouth seemed a bit more stereotypically gay - not so much lately. Oh well! I was mostly joking when I threw that one out there anyway. lol

maybe it was because he wore vests all the time... and it made him look like an ice skater?
Paula - March 27, 2008 06:47 PM (GMT)
I was more referring to the fact that most of his friends were girls, he was always showing off his dancing/cheerleading skills, etc. (Yes, I know, stereotypes - I did say "stereotypically gay" back there. lol)
