She's announced her US tour dates and how typical that she is actually doing Detroit...end of October when i'm going in December. Ack, she did this last time when i was in Florida, 2 days after we were leaving she was playing there.

Anyway, my friend and I were just discuss the release of tour dates last night. I think, maybe, we have decided to forego seeing Celine Dion in Vegas for Kelly. Not that there was much competition for me, I really just wasnt the free trip to Vegas and to see Celine hit herself during the high notes lol She's good but she's not worthy of my money.

I really want to find out when the tickets start going on sale so I can start putting money away.

Hah, I figured you'd get a kick out of that. And I think I'd actually rather see Celine than Kelly. That bitch is crazy! And I actually like a few of her songs. It is my secret shame. lol

Random thing I just remembered: During the season of AI with Kelly (the first one?), her nickname on TWoP was "Kell-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" because they were all squealing over her. Yes, on TWoP. There was even a shirt about it. It was crazy. lol

TWoP = Television Without Pity. They do snarky recaps of TV shows. Once in a while they actually LIKE the show they're recapping, which is always kind of bewildering in the sea of sarcasm and rage. It's a pretty fun site, but not for the fangirly at heart. (I'd steer clear of the Charmed section if I were you. lol)

haha Sober is fantastic. I've been playing Be Still and Maybe a ton lately but especially Maybe. The non My December song I've been obsessing over recently has been Up to the Mountain. I love that one.

I cannot wait for the concert my friend and I are going to. I just paid for my tickets today. We haven't seen her since 2002 because the last concert, the one that spawned Irvine, we couldn't get tickets in time or something. I :wub: Irvine. It's such a tragic song but it's so fucking amazing and her voice sounds so different from how it normally does.

Oh, do you mean the fan club members are supposed to have access to a pre-sale or something? Those tend to be more frustrating than they're worth, in my experience. I once joined a fan club ONLY so I could get access to a ticket pre-sale and then I never did get a shot at it anyway!

They made you call in to get an access code, but I could never get through and always just got a recording that said "This voicemail box is full, please try again later." After about a week of calling in every few hours, I gave up and just went through TicketMaster the day they went on sale to the general public (and got crappy seats :(). I should have demanded a refund on the fan club fee. lol

I had better luck in the ridiculous Spice Girls ticket lottery! :lol:

Yep! I mean the only good thing and the only reason i keep renewing is for the video exclusives they get...and they do offer M8Gs for the tours. Other than that it sucks..especially with communication!

It really is! You have so little control over what happens, and it's like you're scrambling around as fast as you can, trying to get good seats before somebody else beats you to them - you just have to dive in and hope for the best. Again, good luck! ^_^
