Watched OTH early this morning and loved it :) just got back from work now and might watch both eps again :) soo cool!

Paula - January 9, 2008 06:40 PM (GMT)
I didn't get to watch it yet (I was busy when it aired and then too tired to watch two hours of TV - I fell asleep so early last night!), but I will tonight. Must have been good if you already want to re-watch them. ^_^

twinzz-dorien - January 9, 2008 07:16 PM (GMT)
we're gonna watch em tonight as well :)

Elle - January 9, 2008 09:14 PM (GMT)
My friend and I are watching it together so having to wait until tomorrow, its killing me seeing as they're staring at me from my desktop!

annemiek - January 9, 2008 09:37 PM (GMT)
There were two songs (one in each ep) that were really beautiful. I got both if anyone is interested after watching :)

Elle - January 9, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
I think i read one of them is Kelly Clarkson? That info made me squee! :D

annemiek - January 10, 2008 04:57 AM (GMT)
Could be Kelly on the show, not sure, the two songs I meant are:

The Verve Pipe - The Freshman

Group 1 Crew - Forgive Me

ADORE both songs!

IF YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING, SKIP THIS REPLY!

i love the scenes with brooke and her phone... and the ones where skills talks back to the little girl at the ...soapbox rally..is that what it's called?...

YOU CAN START READING NOW

I think they made a good chose at going 4 years onwards... The stores were good...but I didn't really enjoy the fact that EVERYTHING seemes to be so gloomy from the very beginning... ,
There were some pieces of script that I, personally would've rather cut out instead of leaving them in...and then there was the sound... sometimes, something really went wrong there... It seemed like the mics were a bit further away from the conversation than what's actually good ...in order to hear the entire cpnversations.. BUT EVERYONE IS SO... SAD!

About Jamie.... oh how my maternal feelings started to arise when I saw that boy on screen LOL (I don't have kids but okay...)..he's cute, he's catchy...and he's quite the talented young man!...
His lines are awesome! LOL He's pretty much the kinda kid every girl will go AWWWWWWWWWW with every time they see him smile, pout,... ^_^
adorable...

I'm gonna have to get used to Michaela though...It seemed to me like she was still a little uncertain about some of the things she had to do... (although that first scene with her and sophia was awesome LOL)... Same with ..the woman who plays Brooke's mom... Not that they did bad, but i guess they still have to get used to acting with their co-stars...if there was magic there, I didn't see much of it...

The double storyline is pretty interesting...however the first two episodes seemed to be very Naley-invested, there were some flashbacks from Lucas and Peyton too... (GULP at their wardrobe sometimes)...

but what on earth is Haley wearing? LOL... the green-red-blue-yellow squared vest is..euhm..doubtfully dorky to say the least LOL

I think the "Watch it Lucas, or Dan's not the only Scott to have killed a brother" thing was a little ...over the top

did they really had to bring Keith up AGAIN...it's been 5 years right??? u'd think that they'd be over that already..

jaimie is ADORABLE!

Elle - January 10, 2008 10:22 PM (GMT)
EEKKK i just loved it! Really, really loved the music in these eps! I got a little over excited when Kelly Clarkson was played during a Brooke scene!

Paula - January 12, 2008 10:06 PM (GMT)
Meant to come back and comment - I loved the first two episodes! Yes, they were tragically Rachel-free, but I've missed the show so much and it was interesting to see what everyone's like four years later. I loved the scenes with Brooke and Jamie, and the Jamie/Uncle Luke scenes were awfully cute, too.

Man, is Nathan a mess or what? Here's hoping the little epiphany he had this week will result in a haircut and shave in the VERY near future.

I'm going to give the episodes a re-watch before commenting any further, because two hours after a four-year jump was a bit much to take in.
