Looks like that French DVD cover that's been making its way around the net IS, in fact, the cover art for the season four set. Here it is in English:



As has been speculated, the set will be released in January. The official press release with full details (including bonus features, etc.) should be coming soon.

I really like it though. Although this is the look that so many other shows seem to go for too i.e Grey's, O.C..

Hah, I agree, but I guess that all comes down to "star power." I'm happy to see them on there at all! I really do wish they'd had everyone get together and take a group shot, though. Those are always cuter than these hack job type covers. I guess it's probably a pain in the rear to get that big of an ensemble cast together all at once to take pictures, though, and then try to get a picture where everyone looks good. This way is probably loads easier.

I hope theres new promo group shots for Season 5. Wish they would have done that with Season 4 aswell!

Yeah, I'm thinking they pretty much have to take new promo shots now - it's supposed to be four years later! And most of them look fairly different. They can't get away with trotting out the same old pictures of them from high school again this year. lol

Yeah it does look kind of Season 2 DVD set of The OC.

But OTH's is nice, I like the colour of it: Green :), and Danneel looks amazing as usual.

Yeah, I think it looks okay. Some people are throwing a tantrum over it, but I think they did a nice job with what they had to work with (as in, no new groups shots) - I'd rather this format as opposed to another outdated group shot of the main five with Danneel, Lee and Antwon left out.

They should of used new pictures though, hopefully theres a group picture on the inside?

Yeah, I've even seen talk of a petition to get it changed (like the rioting O.C. fans did for the last season's DVD artwork). It seems like a silly thing to get so worked up over. Who cares what the package looks like so long as the DVDs are inside of it and have fun bonus features? lol

Ooh, yeah, that would be awesome! Their crazy little take on the National Anthem was so amusing.

And yeah, the release date stinks. I know they're trying to cross-promote and all, but wouldn't it be MORE encouraging to people to tune into season five if they could - oh, I don't know! - catch up on the previous season first? One day doesn't exactly allow much time for that!

I also think they're really missing out by not releasing it before Christmas. DVD boxed sets are huuuge sellers around then because they're such an easy gift. Their loss, I guess!

I just got the dvd for xmas today :) (we celebrated it later but im sooooo excited) :)

a delivary man came at our door and also gave us the dvd box...go figure...

the CW isn't really good at creating/giving extra's tthough..they should make like, an extra dvd with all the extra's instead of skattering them all over the disks...

the bevin one is cute though :lol:

I got mine for Christmas but haven't had a chance to check out the extras yet. Perhaps tonight...
